Odessa Police Charge Man in Connection to Robbery/Aggravated Assault Investigation
Odessa Police arrested Ray Charles Mosley, date of birth 08/31/1952, on 3-14-18 at approximately 0245 hours for Robbery “2nd Degree Felony” and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon “2nd Degree Felony”. Officers responded to a rolling disturbance in the area of Murphy and Crane.
The disturbance moved out of the city limits and both parties were located and stopped by the Ector County Sheriff’s Office. Odessa Police responded to the scene and made contact with the 50-year-old complainant and another male subject, identified as Mosley. The complainant advised that he had been robbed by Mosley at the Chevron gas station.
The complainant advised that after he withdrew $40 from the ATM and exited the store, he was approached by Mosley and an unknown female subject. Mosley pushed the complainant up against his truck and held him against the struck while the female subject grabbed the $40 from the complainant’s hand.
Mosley and the unknown female suspect fled the scene in two separate vehicles. While the complainant was following Mosley’s vehicle, Mosley used his vehicle to intentionally strike the complainant’s vehicle on multiple occasions. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Mosley was charged and arrested accordingly.
There were no reports of any injuries. At this time very little information is known about the female suspect.
